Add and link media
Media, such as images, can be added to your resources. Adding images enhances the user journey and improves the booking experience for customers. Images can be displayed on your website and within Maxxton for your employees.
Add images to the Media Library
All images added or that can be linked are stored in the media library.
- Navigate to Content Manager and expand the Configuration menu item, and select Media.
- You can create folders or upload media using the buttons on the top right of the Media page.
💡Tip
Create a logical folder structure that aligns with your business needs. This will simplify linking, as well as updating and managing images!
Link images to accommodations
- Navigate to Content Manager.
- Select the resource to which you want to link images. Open the resource.
- Click the Media action icon. A Media pop-up is displayed.
- Click on Add new media in the pop-up.
- All your media is displayed here, in the folder structure you have previously configured. You can link images from here by clicking on them. You can also upload new media according to your preferred folder structure. If you add images, they will be linked immediately.
Unlink images
- Navigate to the Linked media by following the steps outlined above.
- Hover over the image you want to remove and click the X icon in the top-left corner.
Delete images
To delete media from the Media Library, navigate to the library by following the steps outlined above. Search for the media you want to delete. Use the three dots on the top right of the image to open the menu from where you can delete the image.
- Open the media library in Content Manager by following the steps outlined above.
- Search for the media you want to delete.
- Click the kebab menu in the top-right corner of the image and select Delete.
