Key concepts

• Reseller concern: a client reselling properties owned by other Maxxton clients.
• Supplier concern: a client owning the physical accommodation units and supplying them to reseller concerns to increase bookings.

The Maxxton-Maxxton link enables seamless integration between reseller and supplier concerns. 

Features supported by the Maxxton-Maxxton link

Automated price sync

You can synchronise prices between concerns in two ways:

• Cashflow rules: sync prices directly based on defined cashflow rules.
• LOS net prices: sync net prices, including offers, from the Supplier Concern Index.

You can control how many accommodation types are synced in each process. For example, if 500 accommodation types are linked, you can schedule hourly price syncs and limit each process to update, for instance, 100 accommodation types.

By default, only accommodation types with changed prices since the last sync are updated. To fetch all prices regardless of changes, enable “Disable config change”. This ensures all prices are imported from the supplier concern and added to the reseller concern if not already present.

Price syncs can be scheduled to run hourly, updating a limited number of accommodation types per iteration.

Automated unit quantity sync

The link supports reservability sync, which fetches the total number of available units from the supplier concern and updates the unit quantity for linked accommodation types in the reseller concern.

We recommend running this sync twice a day.

Create reservations from Reservation Manager

You can create reservations for the Maxxton-Maxxton link directly from Reservation Manager:

• When you select Get rates for a linked accommodation type, availability is checked in real time on the supplier concern. If available, the choice is calculated in the reseller concern and displayed in Reservation Manager. If not available, you’ll receive an error.
• Successful reservations return a Supplier Booking Reference to the reseller concern, and the reseller’s reservation ID is stored as the booking reference in the supplier concern.
• Offers are matched by special search code. The same search code must exist in both concerns.
• Optional add-ons linked via Integration Manager are automatically added to the supplier booking. If an add-on is incorrectly configured, the reservation will fail, and the error will be logged in the Supplier Dashboard.
• Proper travelling party details in the reseller reservation are carried over to the supplier concern.
• Memos in the reseller reservation with category ‘supplier’ are copied to the supplier reservation.

Cancel or decline supplier reservations

Bookings made through the Maxxton-Maxxton link can be cancelled or declined in Reservation Manager. The status is automatically updated in the supplier concern.

Modify supplier reservations

You can modify linked supplier reservations in Reservation Manager for:

• Stay dates
• Accommodation type
• Add-ons (add/remove)
• Travel party (add/remove or update details)

Show only available supplier accommodations

Both Web Manager and Reservation Manager only display available supplier accommodation types for the selected criteria:

• In Web Manager, availability is fetched in real time from the supplier concern index.
• In Reservation Manager, availability is fetched from the resource index.

Availability is determined based on rentability, configured prices, and reservability.
